About

Rachel Barr is a member of Atencio Hall’s oil and gas practice group, advising and supporting clients on title examination, curative solutions and transactions affecting client operations and asset development. She brings a focused, detail-driven approach shaped by experience in litigation-driven environments and matters requiring careful analysis and sound judgment.

Prior to joining Atencio Hall, Rachel practiced as an associate attorney in commercial trucking litigation and previously worked in higher education administration, overseeing federal and state grant programs. During law school, she served as Executive Editor of the Duquesne Law Review, worked as a civil procedure research assistant, and completed an externship with the Allegheny Lawyers Initiative for Justice. She is also a published legal scholar, authoring Copyright in the Age of AI: Re-Thinking the Human Authorship Requirement, published in the Duquesne Law Review.
