Shane LaBarge focuses his practice on providing commercial and wealth planning counsel to businesses and the families that own them.

Shane is a highly responsive and trusted advisor to businesses of all sizes. He provides strategic counsel on commercial matters, including contract negotiation, corporate governance, and major transactions such as stock purchases, asset acquisitions, and real estate deals.

Providing compassionate counsel to individuals, families, and fiduciaries, Shane creates customized estate plans that safeguard wealth and streamline business transitions. His expertise includes drafting trusts, wills, and powers of attorney, along with guiding clients in business succession planning.

Before joining Atencio Hall, PLLC, Shane worked as a law clerk for United States Federal Courts and practiced at a Global 100 law firm. During law school, he was the Executive Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation, received two Dean’s Awards, and published Chevron, and Beyond the Infinite: The Judicial and Legislative Challenges to the Administrative State, 44 J. Legis. 107 (2017).

A Pittsburgh native, Shane is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the Washington County Bar Association. He currently lives in Moon Township.
